Regular meetings
- Every second Thursday of the month except January and July
- at 6 pm (hive opening at 4pm, if offered)
- at the Agriculture Dept. MR Senior High School
- In summer hive opening and practical teaching at 4 pm (check with club secretary)

WAAS member benefits
MRRC is affiliated with WAAS and membership of WAAS is all that is required to attend events and receive benefits of both MRRC and WAAS.

Specific member development benefits
The club may sponsor any member part of the costs of attending a further educational course eg Queen rearing. Application is made through the club secretary and decided by a panel. It is a condition that the knowledge or experience acquired is shared within the club with a brief presentation at a meeting

Practical Teaching
The Club has hives at the school site for teaching club members and students. There is a variety of hive types: conventional Langstroth, Techno-set, WSP, Flow Hive and horizontal.


Home Hive Visits
Experienced beekeepers may seek some refund for time and costs incurred while doing home hive visits to new beekeepers starting out or in difficulty
